No, the location is Mosport which is north east of Oshawa Ontario Canada. Of interest the name Mosport is frequently mispronounced. It is now called Canadian Tire Mosport Park.

I learned to drive a 4-speed in that car. I was 15 when he sold it. Glad you are still using the rock guards. I still sell them along with the 65-67 side exhaust cover protectors.

That pic of the boat then the snow reminds me of my past. 1978 in Wahiawa, Hawaii watching my now 48 y.o. daughter march in a girl scout parade. Then the Army transferred me to Colorado Springs, Colorado where I met snow, snow, snow and my 66 had to sit in garage for months.1966 L79 327 350 HP.jpg

Another one from the Continental Divide Raceway archives, circa mid to late 1960s. Notice the front license plate. Which means most likely, he drove it to the track, disconnected the side pipes, put on the slicks and went racing.

My answer was vague. The 56 SR-2 originally owned by JERRY EARL, son of HARLEY EARL. Raced at Elkhart Lake in June 56. Car has original FIRESTONE racing tires on it. This photo may have been in the pits when car was off loaded prior to race. Hard to tell exactly
