Lunch? Possibly being provided? Food is a wonderful thing. I would like to know.
If so, what is on the menu? Or is this a liquid lunch?

Okay. I searched for some pictures. Take a look at the pics. Do I have this right? The guy with the the black hat with the clipboard is THE judge. The gentleman looking over his shoulder with the jeans and shiny watch would be the Observer Judge. Then you have the guy at the front of the car TOUCHING it. Perhaps doing some last second polishing. This is the OWNER of the car. Then you have the big guy in the back with tan cap looking around. Perhaps another Observer Judge looking around? Then there is the guy facing the pace car. Would that be Mr. Shorts?

Marc, you have received some great advise from some great people. As many have said, being an OJ is the single greatest learning experience you can expect to have. You will learn more in one day than you would reading anything for a month. Definitely familiarize yourself with the latest judging manual and take the advise of what those here have said, Listen, Listen, Listen and most of all have Fun!!

This is a photo of our car back in 2010 when we brought it to Kissimmee for Flight Judging. Dick Capello (guy in the hat) is trying to go easy on my Dad with the results of the judging...he looks pretty calm

This really is a great event and you can expect to see some fantastic cars! Good luck, relax, and most of all have fun. See you in Kissimmee!

Hey this is great! I smoked out the car in question! HAHA! Thanks for the reply and looking forward to seeing everyone. I am hoping to learn a lot about the NCRS and how the judging works first hand. I will get those manuals in hand. I have the 1970-72 one but have to buy the other one. Well, since we are on topic on that photo who was the suspect that was touching the front of the car? Inquring minds want to know!

I leave as many fingerprints and as much sunscreen as I possibly can, on every car I judge. After the car is judged, I tell the owner...the OJ did it.

I see we have a bunch of comedians here. And that is a good thing!!!!!! My kind of crowd. HAHAHAHA
There is definitely a time to be serious and I learned when that time is and to keep my trap shut. But afterwards it appears it is all in good fun.

Michael Ward-so do you happen to know where all the hot spots are that you referenced?

If you are doing Chassis OJ be careful when on the ground he will step on you and do not I repeat do not look up. Do not ask how I know this. Also the judge in the first photo and the to the far left in the second is a Bus driver (Ralph) he will also step on you. Both are very DANGER'S so be very careful around ether on the judging field.

Also be careful if attending the Advanced Judging Seminar of the bearded one he is also danger's no photo necessary you will know him on sight.
Looks like I am getting to know the crew before hand. This is good to know.

Thank you all for the insider information here. I will be on the lookout for all and I will be prepared to be stepped on.

Yeah, the guy touching the car is a judge. We had a weird paint phenomenon at that event. The evening the cars were placed on the judging field we had very heavy rain in the middle of the night. When we got to the field the next morning we removed the saturated car cover and we saw that the car had pimples in the paint. Mind you that the paint is lacquer and was painted back in the mid 80's so needless to say we were a bit surprised!! Thankfully they did recede but it really didnt make much sense back then and, to this day, we really haven't come up with an answer as to why it occurred in the first place.

I have some tires & wheels that you haven't yet left any sunscreen on...but I just might have to put some oily substance on so they slip thru my fingers for some frogskins in trade

Was this in the united states? If so maybe the Canadian dollar was worth much more and they knew you were made of big bucks!

if you sell those wheels/tires, you're buying the beer in FL.
