    Mark,

There are many experienced NCRS members who will inspect a car for a nominal fee, usually just their expenses. You can post the info about the car and it's location here. Mention that you need help with an inspection. Or you can try contacting the local chapter, they will find someone to help you.

I'm on the fence for this repop paper work and because of my very limited knowledge of how to tell the real from the fake I place little value on any of it.

My preference would be to to have a good stamp pad over "original" docs because it's far more difficult and costly to repop a stamp pad than paper doc and if you get Al Grenning(spelling) to verify the pad then that's all I'd need. If that's an over simplistic view then some one please correct me.

On the other hand I had a member here repop my tank sticker based on my partial sticker, pics of the original sticker 25 years ago and GM of Canada docs. I just thought it was neat to have.

I agree. The feedback said thanks Jim. Also as a side note, Bill knows more about Rock & Roll music than anyone in the USA. I think he was a DJ in Lubbick TX. He also had a lot of nos. Corvertte parts in the day.

people have been making fraudulent paperwork since written docs began, think bible, constitution etc. or european stuff...life is that way unfortunately, thankfully I have my pop, tank ticker and original owner still alive

He is owner/part owner of KDAV in Lowbuck TX. He has a morning show that is hilarious at times. You can send him an email at BS@KDAV.ORG.

I know that he has mentioned a frequent poster on this forum a few (100's) times. Won't call his name, but his friends call him Doc Quack

See and talk with Wild Bill ever once in a while. Last time I saw him he wasn't getting around easily. A while back he was pedaling Corvette docs & owner's manuals on e-bay. KDAV on-line URL http://radiotime.com/station/s_32242/KDAV_1590.aspx

Since my car didn't come with an original window sticker, I went to Triple A Enterprises and had them make me a "like new" one for $35 with my options and orginal dealer address on it. It simply can't be taken as a nearly 50-yr old doc and it's a fun place to start at gatherings with people looking at it as a jumping off place for questions about the car.
