Jack has left the building....Just left Eufaula,OK. after a visit and a little preventive maintenance. He's fine and so is car...just a couple of little annoyances that we fixed....Jack got his hands DIRTY!!!! He's on his way to Mena,Arkansas

I am in Razorback Country

Made it to Mena AR. Jeff Montgomery and his wife Penny are taking good care of me

Now on to Texas tomorrow . I will be heading to Anna TX and spending the night. I will be calling Texas contacts in the morning before I leave to set up possible meeting around Dallas.

I then head to Houston and want to make stops along the way.

Ending up in Seabrook Texas.

Hope to see as many of you as possible.

Hope the Texas sign is in better condition than the Arkansas one.

I saw where Jack had made it to Oklahoma via the Daily Oklahoman Newspaper. They were doing a story on the 100th anniversary of the OKC Stockyards and the writer was doing a story on Cattleman's restaraunt and mentioned that Jack was traveling cross country and had made a stop to eat at Cattleman's. Jack is mentioned at the very beginning of the story.

We just finished the Western Regional in Albuquerque last night, and lots of conversation around the table about your trip. We all wished you could have stayed a couple extra days in Albuquerque and joined the show. You would have gotten mucho driving points toward top flight!

Jack just left Lafayette, LA for the 125 miles remaining to New Orleans. Looks like he has fully recovered from his illness and after a coke and quart of oil, he was good to go.... Hit the weather just right.... It was a 49 degree low temp along the Gulf Coast this morning with sunny skies so what better day to drive a 66 convertible...

Car looks and sounded great!!! Jack is looking forward to cajun food tonight in the Big Easy !!!!

Just got in

Hi, I just got up to my room , near the beach in Sandestin Florida , courtesy of (cor24vette) a forum member. Nice fireplace, TV, views, it's a tough job, I know, but someone has to do it.

Give me a little while and I will start to post some great pictures of my visit to NASA, thanks to Jay , his wife Diana and son Blake , who work at NASA.

Also on the list car show at the Houston Galleria, lots of exotics.
Next, Jay's cars, Brady Como, in Beaumont TX , great 58 , and Joe & Ann Lagarde (66 BB) in New Orleans. ( Joe I know you had a fireplace, but it was not in my room). Or was it??????

Houston Area Visit

Special thanks to Jay, Deana and their son Blake , for making my stay in Houston unforgettable.

Jay who works at NASA in the graphics program , won a national competition for designing a patch (NASA patches are very symbolic) commemorates the end of the Space Shuttle Program. That patch will be worn by Astronauts on the last flights in 2010 and 2011
