I had a great day visiting Rhys Cruz in Napa Valley. He auto crossed a 68 corvette twenty years ago and still races his 2001. He also has a 2007 for long trips.

How is the trip going? This has to be a dream for a lot of people no matter what you drive. I would rather do this than flying somewhere.

Jack's at my home. We had cold beer, a dip in the pool, a great meal prepared by my wife Patty, then chit-chat and a real bed to sleep in. He will post his last few days in the morning. Then it will be party time on Saturday.

AZ and New mexico

Car is fine, I am not, I don't think I can make all the stops as planned. I will need a bit of help. My trip will still make all the states , but I have to straighten the line out a bit.

The west is really big and the heat has taken its toll.

If I can't make it to your location, please understand. I will leave Prescott AZ on WED for NM and then to CO on Friday or Sat.
