Send me your email, I can send you "real sized" pics from a year ago when it was rented and maintained, out side only. Only seen the inside from trick-or-treat with the kids and at that time not bad, but being empty takes its toll and I do think I can get what ever i/s photos they have. Realtor has zero photos of inside... 199k.

I remember when they were trying to get almost double.

Issues are busy corner, crawl no basement, and tired, and then competition as there are many on the market with values half of what they were in the 80's.

At that price for gas it should have been Standard Oil Company, Amoco came along int he late 70's or early 80's. We'll have to see what's there the Dream Cruise is Saturday.

Nope. Earlier than that, at least in some places. My late, ex-father-in-law operated an Amoco station in Maryland during the mid-60s. I remember it was the only clear gasoline. Mother-in-law would use it to clean spots off of cloth. Other gas with color would leave a stain but not Amoco.

Given the due reverence paid by the NCRS to Mr. Duntov and others of the same point in history, why not take a few pennies out of the club kitty and buy the property to preserve it, possibly as a museum or repository?

i was in Normandy, France in 2009
for the D-Day celebration
the Brit's were paying about $8/gal
the Frence were about the same!!
compared to them,
gas is cheap!
or we are being ripped off
and they are being emasculated!!

Its all about taxes. All of Europe is about that price. Even Canada is high. We can bitch here (I do), but we have it much better off than many other countries.
One other part of the equation is distances in the US are much greater than in Europe. Most European countries are no bigger than most of our states. So travel here mandated that prices be affordable for people to commute. -Dan-
