    I stopped at a 711 for a coffee on the way hme from a car show (50 miles each way). One guy raved about it and said theat he never ever expected to see a car like that out of a museum. I guess you are right.

        I drove my 57 from Oklahoma to Carlisle by way of Boston last year.

        Parked it in the middle of the restored 57's, road rash and all.

        It receive a celebrity choice award. The comment was "it is a real car, he drove it!"

        Yes, the paint is chipped and cracked and the seats show some wear (the restoration is only 27 years old), but I'll accept those defects as the price of driving it.

        The enjoyment is worth the price.
