    Re: Your Opinion

I have an all origonal 62 with 88,000 miles and a 65 tanker. They aren't driven to get groceries, but neither has ever seen a trailer.

            Re: Your Opinion

I have been a member of NCRS for thirty years and have benefitted greatly
in terms of knowledge and relaxation. I can also say that I have been
impressed and influenced by SACC during many of those years. I have never had
nor probably ever will have one of my car's flight judged, but have always
used the information and knowledge I have gleaned from all Corvette
venues to make my cars able to compete as successfully as any other If I had
            elected to do so.

I have driven mime since 74 but one of the biggest deturants to driving these cars is just the traffic, 12 miles to work and 14 stoplights. They are fun to drive but sitting at a stop light for 2-3 minutes every couple of miles is not driving.

Sometimes you just are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Last April a guy pulled out in front and I smacked him,

A new front clip and BC/CC and its back on the road. My standard insurance did not blink at the repair, just wanted a estimate and sent me the check. I still drive but not quite as often.

all depends on the car. i have some to show and some to drive. my show cars get driven a few times per year. the drivers get driven more. my 70 lt1 is being built as a show car. frame off every nut and bolt restoration. my 72 lt1 is built as a driver. frame on, replace whats needed. the car looks as good as the 70 from the top. new paint, new interior, rebuilt engine and suspention, new exhaust. the driver looks good and feels good but its not perfect. i have a 20,000 mile 86 yellow pace car, top flight. i like to think its the nicest one on the planet. i dont drive it much. my 57 fuelie is a tripple crown car, dont drive it much. its restored to the point i am afraid to take it out. sad but true. i was always told you cand drive a show car and you cant show a driver.

no matter what it is you can always restore it again... if you can afford to.
