Notice how shiny the bottom of the car is and there is very little overspray on the bell housing!

I remember my dad commenting on the new Corvettes as we drove by this dealership back in the day. Grew up just a few miles from it just outside of D.C. Mike

A friend just sent this one to me. Does anybody out there know the story behind this photo?

I think this was the 54 that was ''bricked in'' the basement of a St. Louis business when the car was 2 or 3 years old

I seem to recall a different story. This car was being moved through a rear door of a show hall to become a display.

It think it is somewhere in the archived but I can't find it.

PIKES PEAK, 1960. Thom Jamison was the driver and owner. Thom bought the car at AL DANIELS Chevrolet where he worked. He had raced this 1960 Corvette, and a 63 frost blue Corvette up Pikes Peak.

Very interesting 1964 history as it was the Pikes Peak Hill Climb car on Tuesday June 30, 1964 of Thom Jamison that was hit head on by a course official that was driving down the course when Thom was racing up. The official thought the course was open. Car has been restored to original.

The 64 SADDLE / SADDLE convertible was a special order car thru JOE PIKE, with no radio, 4:11 rear fuel injection car. When crashed, it had only 3300 miles. He sold it immediately to HMB FIBERGLASS ENGINEERING CO. in Wichita, Kansas on Oct. 12, 1964. I will post photos of that car
