My 63 in San Jose in 1976. Said to myself that I would never sell the car - but I did. New owner had it until 1976 when it was stolen by a guy that owned a body shop in San Jose. They parted it out(UGH!!). The only part recovered was the frame. Somewhere out there is the body (and other parts) from this car. Two great options this car had was the brake combo of sintered metallic brakes and power brakes. Also, the car was originally Sebring Silver.

Our first Corvette in March, 1970. Address is 702 Park Ave. (in a small WNY town along the Erie Canal.)

The wheels were from a '68 Corvette. Also, this car was sold new (not to me yet) in Grand Island, NY.
That is the island that splits the Niagara river in two, just a few miles south of where it falls over Niagara Falls.

JC Penney building broke apart narrowly missing this Corvette.

Interesting photo Don, but what I seem to detect is a definite sag at the rear
and a nose-up attitude. Front wheel cutout space is another clue to significant weight being borne by rear suspension..
Some debris certainly fell on the car, but yeah, could easily have been catastrophic.

1961 white/red taken with 2nd owner in 1965 on a camping/horse back riding trip. passenger seat carried the dog and a saddle.I am the 4th owner, and it was in a barn for 20 years before the 3rd owner rescued it in 2009.

I know Dipstick knew 3 of the 4 owners, and he might have known the original owner who I don't know much about. He may know this car from day 1. I bought the car from a good friend of his living not too far from Dennis. Mike
