And I am still looking for the bravest of the brave, the die-hard Corvette aficionados who have the courage and stamina to drive from the beach in California to the beach in Virginia, through the most beautiful mountain roads America has on offer the entire way. Do you have what it takes?

Please make sure that you include your Registration and Insurance for your Road Tour Corvette/Car. These documents will speedup your reply letter with the Hotel lists.
      Thank You,

Congratulations to Mary and Dan Soldano. The newlywed couple were the 100th car registered for the 2013 NCRS Road Tour. Please make the 60th Anniversary of Corvette your year to participate in this exciting adventure.

What a honeymoon trip with hundreds of your very best friends. Mary & Dan -- I hope you enjoy the trip. If you are crossign the border be prepared.

The wife and I did the honeymoon thing in the 1970 Corvette. We had all the camping gear in the storage compartment and went to Canada. It was a hoot watching the border police try to search the car when they couldn't figure out how to get the seats to fold forward. And they never had the stones to ask us how. Classic police mentality. (Sorry Vinnie nd other current and former LEO!)

Thanks to all for the congrats on our honeymoon trip. I registered for Charlotte before I even knew Mary, and as my navigator, she was listed as "TBA". We had such a great time, for Novi, we were engaged and she was listed with her own last name. For San Diego, we were married and Mary had switched to using my last name, so if you look at my navigators on those road tours, it looks like three separate women!
Honestly, we have had a blast and have spent time with some great people on these road tours, and we always look forward to the next one. Scott and Kay are the best! You have to participate in a road tour, and I can tell you that it won't be your last. For 2013, we will leave the yellow '09 Z06 home which I had bought for road tours (along with the '62), and we will be in Mary's Valentine's Day present (from us, to us), a 2008 triple black convertible which now has only 5900 miles.

We'll have to keep Dan away from tomatoes, and babies that pass wind this time around.
He is dangerous when around either.

It really was the baby, honest! Remember all that nice stuff I said about meeting great people on a road tour?......now I'll take some of it back. Just kidding!! Mary and I are looking forward to seeing you again on the upcoming road tour......we'll search for those tomatoes together.

The Sunoco 112 Octane Race Gas they sell at Watkins Glen International has up to 10% alcohol in it...says so right on the pumps. The race car doesn't seem to mind it though...I guess when you're burning through a gallon a lap the old girl doesn't have time to figure out it has alcohol in it!

I'm already registered for Hampton but not for a Road Tour. How do I register for the Road Tour now? There isn't anywhere to sign up on my form. On my Registration it says,

                            Roadtour:

No roadtour participation registration is filled in.
                            Cheers,
                            JB

                                Jim,

Road Tour is a tab on the on-line registration form. Since you didn't select and complete, then you'll have to mail/email Scott your Road Tour registration information.

You can download the Road Tour form here https://www.ncrs.org/convention/road_tour_reg.pdf and email it to Scott with your payment information.
