        You may want to look up and outfit on the web called "A. G. Backeast" I had the same problem with my '68 convertible
        4 years ago and they made me a perfect reproduction of my VIN tag. I can't recall how much it cost back then, seems like
        about $200.00.

        Bought some rivets, cleaned up pillar and installed new tag. Looks great. My car won't be getting judged so I
        wasn't worried too much about nit-picking the appearance. I got rivets out of Hemmings Motor News.

        Hope that they're still in business, I was very pleased with their product.

          Seems like this always gets mixed up. There is a difference between saying something is original and something has a Typical Factory Apperance. If anyone thinks that cause a car has a top flight or bloomington gold means its original....they have come to a incorrect conclusion.
