    3X2 Fuel line brass T-blocks

For a '69, can someone tell me how to tell reproductions from originals?

Originals have Weatherhead logos stamped in.

Originals have a "W" repeated on the blocks- repos do not. USA corvettes - advertised in Drive line has originals.

This is the Weatherhead logo. I have seen some repros with just a plain W on them.

Sorry about the quality of the photo, when I enlarged it, I found it was slightly out of focus.

          .
Dick -- here's 2 shots off a late '69 fuel block. The second junction block was so faint all you could see was the outside imprint of one side of the row of hexagons.

Same logo on the ones I have as well. I also noticed the same logo on the brake line blocks.

The W, with the arrow thru it, inside the octagon pretty much seals the real deal

OK. Thanks gentlemen. Will the repop fuel lines seat in the original blocks?

That should be no problem. The tubing flare should be the same.

as long as you don't use stainless steel lines because if the flare is not correct it will eat into the brass fitting and maybe leak. with SS lines i used a steel fitting to preform the line flare before installing it in the brass fitting and this may be a good idea even with plain steel lines

Thanks. I've got the plain ol' steel lines. Clem, what exactly are you referring to as a steel fitting re preforming the line, if you don't mind educating me.

holley carb center pivot float bowls use a steel inverted flare fitting for the fuel line and i use one of those held in a bench vise to tighten the line into to form the flare on the line before putting them in to a brass fitting.
