I am not willing to broaden my horizons THAT far, Ron, nor was I suggesting that to you. Now you could get me into some interesting F-cars -- the ones from overseas, and I don't mean Fiat. I am a little short of coin for those things though.

The M40 Z28 (LT1) is intriguing. The guy who was the first 1970-72 National Team Leader had a passion for All LT1s -- even the ones with M40. He said the M40 fixed everything that was wrong with the LT1. He had pretty good examples of all of them.

Terry, the LT1 I was referring to is that 70 or 72 LT1 Corvette you have mentioned. Remember my first Corvette was a 70 and they were wonderful road cars for their time.

The 72 with 3 or 4 hundred miles? That's a ZR1, and not mine. There is a 70 that has been in my garage for a while -- I almost got that one to Novi, but that didn't work out.

Without an Italian F-car at my disposal the Z06 will have to suffice until the Chevelle is done.

Terry, I did get that confirmed that the top and bottom of that filter are the same, no embossing. Now I want you to tell me how many different end cap molds were there from 65-72

Your daughter doesn't drive a manual trans?
Let her drive the 08 and you take the 70. That is similar to what I will have to do. Not worth trailering either of them.

She doesn't drive manual transmission, at least not any of my manual transmissions -- but that is not the issue. And no, I am not going to discuss the issue on this forum, so give up.
