They assembled very few on 2/23/67 as the only ones i have seen(2) have the pad painted.

On an average basis, they built 16 JE's per day; might take a while (!) to find another (real) T0223JE.

I estimated 14-15 JE's a day, John says 16 so again the fact that you've found 3 is quite remarkable.

What value would stamps other than JE have- they were done with a different holder?

Michael.....If in fact they used a different holder they would have no value,
however i have a image of a TO222JC that used the same 2's(two different)
as mine so i figured they just changed the last letter and vin ........you are
right about any others as they probably used a different holder for the IL's,
IR's ect....

Can you tell us why you are so concerend about that stamp date? Was there question about the pad on your Corvette?

Many people looked at my engine pad and all said it was legit.I just wanted to get another TO223JE as Al has many TO222's & 221's but no TO223JE's to compare mine to and can't affirm my pad without a exact date to compare it to.Thats the long & short of it...so thats why it is so important to me...Rich
Any pads close to mine all have the two different 2's in the assembly date and
all the vin#'s close to mine have the shorter and slanted second 1 as in 7112463...........
