Just heard he's on the road and headed my way in St. Marys, Ohio. Should be here today by noon. Gonna get the rear end lined up for him so he's good to go for a few more miles !!!

Here's Jack when he arrived at BUDS shortly after noon today. He got to see his first Ohio thunderstorm today from across the cornfields !!!

We sure had a good time yesterday hanging out with Jack. After we got his car aligned, we sent him off to explore our little area of Ohio. He came back to BUDS at about 7:00 PM and we headed to Celina, Ohio to a little local place we call CJ's. Got Jack a big old fashioned Ohio tenderloin that took two buns to cover !! A pile of fries and a couple cold ones also arrived at our table somehow !

He is doing the trip many of us wish we could do. He has driven his car more in 9 days than I've driven my 63 in years. He knew that and let me hop behind the wheel and put a few miles on his green 66 while he followed me to Celina in my new Silverado. I think he really wanted to use my air conditioner for a bit !!

If Jack is in your area, be sure to get out and meet him. It's funny how friendships from the internet get to come to life thanks to the efforts of the parties willing to meet in person. He is worth the trip to meet if you can !

Jack................. it was a pleasure to have you in town. I'm glad I got to show you my cars and spend a little time with a fellow enthusiast. Thanks so much for letting me put a few miles on the old 66. It was a blast !! Thanks for making my wife and I a part of your journey. Safe travels.

Tom, It sounds like you took very good care of Jack and his car. We really enjoyed having him here on Cape Cod on his first stop. He is a real character and those of you that will greet him along the way will enjoy his visit very much.

I'm over here on the left (Pacific Coast), and retired L/E for the
City of LA. I had a partner while on the job with the first name Tony (Anthony). He was a hell of a cop and a great partner in the trenches. Tony bears your last name. Do you have any known relatives in the So. Ca. area. If so let me know. Tony and I know how to welcome a long distance traveler. You can let me know by Pvt. Mail and I will answer back the same way.
