Re: It's BAAAACK; the $1.8 million '67 with non-original engine
I know I've seen those background steps in other eBay auctions. This guy could also use spell check. I'm sure he would sell it at Barrett-Jackson.
Q: you want almost 2 mill, what no engine pics? maybe ad 20 more pics or so... Mar-26-10
A: JUST ASK, "NCRS" IT'S DONE ALL THE TIME... NOT SELLING THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE ENGINE PICS, SELLING THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE "RARENESS" OF... "THE CAR", ITSELF. THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD! YOU CAN PUT THE CORRECT: (DATE CODED ENGINE), IN THE CAR - "YOURSELF" - NO QUESS WORK! - IT'S DONE ALL THE TIME, JUST ASK, NCRS... FEEL GOOD ABOUT KNOWING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CORRECT ENGINE FOR THIS CAR - NO QUESS WORK!

Whats with the tire snow tires on car. or at least they look that way. 1.8 mil. you would think it would at least have a set of original tires or even repro.sNew England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: It's BAAAACK; the $1.8 million '67 with non-original engine
I know the car and the owner.
The car has an LS6 454, no 427 tricarb
no air cond
repop seat covers, poorly done
incorrect trans with Hurst linkage
incorrect differential
needs to be repainted, again
has wrong casting of brake M/c and calipers
no ignition shielding
no P-O-P
no tank sticker
and this list should be much longerThe light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.- Top

Re: It's BAAAACK; the $1.8 million '67 with non-original engine
As I've said many times before, if one considers any combination of options and colors, just about every Corvette of the period is one-of-a-kind. Yet, the seller is making a big deal of the fact that this car is one-of-a-kind because of the combination of options (and "non-options").
This car has certain desirable options, but it also lacks many desirable options. So, what's the big deal?In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Chris------
The window sticker looks to be unquestionably a reproduction window sticker (which can be created to any option configuration desired). So, it does not represent any real sort of documentation, at all.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

This obviously defies any rational explanation. Either this person is seriously unhinged mentally, or he is the reincarnation of P.T. Barum, "there is a sucker born every minute".Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
