No, he's serious about the $1.8M
He's been out of work since 2000, he sold his 2000 black covert around 2001-ish. He still lives with his mother and has never married.

Why does he insist on that price and its uniqueness? "Because a couple a very knowledgeable guys that only specialize is high dollar cars told me", and he refuses to listen to any sort of a refute to these experts, nor has he ever put a name to them.

Offering at a ridiculous price is one thing, selling is something else.

The car does not have snow tires on it, unless you gents were pulling legs

The picture of the car was taken in Downers Grove, on a typical summer Friday evening Cruise-In on Main St, in front of the small cemetery.

I was asked to determine value on this car and chose not to do so.

Most of us have Vettes that are pretty unique if you look at all of the option combos. I guess then that all of our Vettes are worth at least a million too. I feel wealthier already...

Someone really needs to gin up a new eBay user name and hit the Buy it Now button. This would occupy his time for awhile as he feverishly attempts to collect payment.

eBay will not cannot "make" any buyer pay or any seller deliver a part.

I've enjoyed reading this post and all the comments, as well as the questions and answers on the e-bay listing. What a good laugh!

I've attempted to ask him a couple of questions and all of his responses end in (HUH). Maybe that's an acronym in corvette jargon that I've never heard.

I guess it's the combinations of color, int etc that supposedly make it "One" of a kind. Makes me wonder how many Cortez Silver 70 LT-1's with deluxe int no PS,PW, or tilt that there are left out there (it wasn't the most popular color after all) I'm guessing...uh, let's see now, mmmm ONE!!! Yahhhhh ONE, that's the ticket! Better hurry and get my "one and only" up there, undercut him and sell mine for a mere 1.1 million! General public only, NCRS members not allowed to bid (I couldn't do that to you)

By the way, that paint on his has no orange peel, never pass muster.

Hey! Look at the calendar, we can have a lot of fun with this! The day after tomorrow is April Fool's Day, let's ALL put our cars on Ebay with the same $1.8 milllion "Buy It Now" price! Write some goofy description for fun.

""The ONE AND ONLY (that I know of)...[Insert your car description here] blah blah blah...Cash, Dilithium Crystals or Pirate Treasure as payment only!"

We could have fun with this guy.

Why does the add say L-68 and the "window sticker" have L-36?

that car is not as rare as my 57 with factory ac. not only is it the only 57 produced with factory ac it is the only ac produced in 57... now thats rare. i think i will list mine for 1.8 billion. . did i mention i have the factory window sticker that proves the car was built like this!
