Re: 1969-70 smog pump question
Here you go...
The date code is stamped on the bottom of the pump when mounted. Judges will check the date with a mirror. This one reads 28091S. Which is a Julian date code for the 280th day of 1969, or October 7th 1969. It is on a November 20th Trim Tag car. The 1 is the shift number and the S is a broadcast code. </SPAN>Attached Files- Top

Stephen
If you need information or a system Bill Hodel is the guy you need to speak with. He advertises in the Drive Line. I purchased a complete system from him recently and its perfect. He was very nice and extremely knowledgeable.- Top

Re: 1969-70 smog pump question
I don't know for sure but I have been told that there is a difference in where this date is stamped. Like on my pump for a 68 its up on the boss and not down in the milled portion. Does anyone know about this minutiae? This is a Hodel pump.Attached FilesLast edited by Dale C.; December 8, 2009, 08:19 AM.- Top
