1970 "correct mufflers with welded pipe" is top on my list. Steve

I had a difficult time finding a pair of Orange valve covers for a '71 LS5. The early ones were flash chromed and the 72's had spot welded wire looms on them. It seems everyone thru them out and went shiny back then.

Fuel Y-block and support for the holly carb on a 1969 L-88. I had to make one for mine. Looked close enough to get Bloomington Gold. I'll bet it's still on the car, where ever it is.

It's just a small rubber oblong grommet that fits around the upper a/c condenser tube as it goes through the radiator support on a 68 with a/c.

              Thanx Jim!!!

Never so glad to be WRONG.

I haven't worked on the '73 coupe in quite some. My LT-4 has been getting all the attention.

I think this is some sort of reproduction and not an original tank.

don't forget to add a correct 68 right and left front grille with horizontal ribs raised further than the ends!

Not the most expensive, but,in my view, the hardest to find for 63.
In my 38 years of looking,I've never found one single piece of NOS 1963 carpet even though every single piece, in each available color, was listed in GM P&A parts books. Bob

                          Simple answer:

The factory original VIN tag--each was unique to a given car.

                          Next question?

The VIN tag was a part that was never available to the public so it doesn't count. Same for the special rivets, body paint, paper floor mats, AM-FM radio tag etc etc.

The 1100696 alternator (42 A) for TI C2's is not easy to find. I finally got one from Chicago Corvette, though I suspect it could be a restamp.

                                Easy Answer!

It's the part you need 15 minutes before judging begins!

Now that's a hard part to find!
