    1966 Grill Bracket Screws

I am in the process of installing grill. Zip list phillips head screws as avalible and I purchased. These screws attach the grill bracket to the bracket that is rivited to the body. I am in need of the 4 screws and attaching nut that fastens grill to bracket. These screws would be 3/16". I called Zip and they have no listing. Would anyone know if they are available?

Walter- Many of the 1966 AIM's are missing page (UPC 11-13) (SHEET B-1)
See if this page helps with your part numbers to order:

The screws or bolts I am in need of attach the grill to the bracket the attaches to the brackets on the body. That page does not show those screws/bolts. GR-335 are not the screws I need as the screws would have to be 3/16 as the hole in the bracket as well as the grill is 3/16". GR-335 is 1/4". I would believe it would possibly be the same type of phillips head screw but 3/16"

          Walter,

Are you talking about attaching the bracket that is riveted to the grill?

That is it. The brackets are rivited to the grill. I had evidently read it incorrectly. I thought the brackets that are attached to the body were the only ones rivited. Thank you for the clarification.

The brackets to the fiberglass body are 3/16 rivets and the correct screws for the grille to brackets are the 1/4 20 screws with captured washers which I posted

Is the head on the outside of the grill and it is peened on the inside?

Walter, The small brackets are attached to the grill with Aluminum button head rivets, not screws.

Walter - the rivets are all oriented from the top down and peened on the bottom.
