It took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete. Pete Bergman is very good, thorough, and nothing went untested. Now I can relax till the National.
    Harry,

    Congrats !

and please forgive my ignorance...,but what is the Duntov/Mclellan/Hill Excellence Award equivalent award for a 2006 after passing the PV ?

I didn't see it described beyond the PV award described here, unless I missed it somehow ?

PS - that link says PVs are for 1953-2004 Vettes, so maybe the page needs updated...
    thx,

Mark, excellent question. I'm not sure a decision was announced yet. My guess would be that 2005 and 2006 would be Hill and 2007 would be Wallace.

      We'll know at the National.

        Mark,

That's still the Mark of Excellence Award.
In 2006 case, the "Hill", as Dave Hill was still the Chief Engineer for that model year.
        Hope that helps.

Congrats Harry, you looked intent in the photos I observed. Join the C-6 PV club. More pages of stuff in all of the NCRS PV world. It will be interesting to see what the powers that are will do with the award designation, yours is a 06 built in 06, mine is a 06 built in 6-06, designated and sold as a 07. Let the award gods continue the mystery until Hampton Rhodes.

Harry, Yes, Reverse, no Auto Dim. As the Reverse Lamp on also triggers the internal mirror digital logic to disable it. And recall I tested the "off" function if the Reverse Lamp Fuse is pulled(or blown). See earlier post with the description of the signal from the BCM through the fuse to the mirror. Circuit Test on

They engineers decided to do away with a battery draw on the 07. When I put my 90 and 93 through NCRS I found ways to disconnect the lights while the hoods remained open for judging.

In prepping a C6 for judging operations a PV, what have people done when the hood props will not hold the hood open? My 2008 Z06 is staring to have issues with this. Can they be rebuilt?
