Did you not like the original ones I posted in post #8? Reproductions aren't nearly as sturdy.

Leif: Not that I do not like but do not have the time for a deal like that since "Judgement Day" is coming up fast.

Strike Plate Grippers

Chris: Got my Grippers in from Corvette Central and to my surprise the smaller ones have small "Tabs" coming out from the
legs. Not sure how they are placed behind the striker plates. Facing the front or rear of car? I may just grind them off since
it looks like they are not needed. Comments?? Larry

Larry, I believe there is a spacer/shim between the striker and the gripper that has slots for the tabs on the gripper to keep it located.Striker Shim and Grippers.jpg
