Harry, if anyone would like to stay in Kissimmee, the rooms at the Econo Lodge are booking at $51.00 per night. Maybe not as good as the rooms in Lakeland but it's not a long drive.

NCRS members,

If anyone needs a room for the Florida Regional Meet, at this time I know of one King Bed room available for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. The room is at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Lakeside village Blvd. The room rate is $ 199.00 plus tax per night.

The room is already reserved by a member unable to attend. If you want this room, reach out to me and I can arrange to have your name added to the room so you can check into it. You will obviously be liable for all expenses incurred as the other guest will not be attending.

If anyone else would like to have a room there if one comes available, feel free to reach out (EMail or Text) and I will put your name on a waiting list in case one becomes available.

There are currently over 40 cars registered for the meet and we have 30 days to go, so it will be another "Great Time in Florida" in February.

KUDOS go to the entire Florida Chapter for staying the course and putting on yet another Great Florida Regional Meet. We have enjoyed your hospitality for over 45 Years and still going strong!

What's it take to get a response from Richard Small the Judging Chair to get a car count by year ? I know a number of members have sent emails over the last 2-3 weeks for that information with no response from Richard. Can you help us out ? Hope to see you there if we have cars to judge.

Well ED I agree but it's not happening. Going on 3 weeks and still no responce. I'm happy to report that Mike Ingram is reporting cars counts for the Tucson Regional. Thank you Mike.

I was wondering if someone could elaborate on the expected size of the swap meet? I read that the vendor spots are sold out and that it will be about the same size as last years but that doesn't tell me much since the last the meet I was at was in Kissimmee.

I had assumed that the field and swap meet would be about the same as back then but I was talking to one of the main vendors of our hobby today and was told that they weren't going and the swap meet was a fraction of what it was in Kissimmee. Not that the swap meet is the only reason to go but for me it is half the fun and I really used to look forward to it. My wife is excited to go to it this year too, but not so much if it's mostly just for the cars. We'll have about a 5 hour flight if we go.....

Also, is there a "program" for the days events and time like what has been posted in the past?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

It will have at present 16 corvette parts vendors . No clothing, ford parts etc. only corvette parts. If vendors are selling other things, they risked not being able to return if we have it next year. There are NO activities except what is printed in the driveline. Any side trips are up to the person who wants to do something else. We are there to judge corvettes under NCRS guidelines.

Greeting from sunny Florida. Just a quick update. Cars are getting registered everyday! Thank you all for the support we have seen. Thank you for your quick reply John but I'm a bit disappointed to hear there won't be a swap meet along with the judging events.

I haven't been able to attend for a few years and then Covid hit us, so I was really looking forward to heading down and taking in the meet which I had just assumed would be similar to previous events I've attended. I fully understand that to judge corvettes under NCRS guidelines is what these meets are truly about, however walking through the field of old corvette parts and talking with the sellers was just as much a part of the whole experience as the actual judging event was.
