That's good news, With all that said, when are you going to post the cars that are going to be judged?

Coach, hoe many vendors are registered and how many spaces were available. Before I spend my money at the gate I would like to know there are more than 10 spots available and sold to vendors.

There have been many questions and misconceptions about our event. The Regional will be held, with many registrations already received and cars registered. Please remember to include proof of registration and insurance with your car registration. There are still rooms available at the Hilton Garden Inn and other hotels. All have special rates for NCRS or National Corvette Restorers Registration. Don't say for the Corvette show or Sun n' Fun car show. We have found you will have best results calling the hotel directly for room reservations. We have contracted special room rates. Remember this is Florida in HIGH SEASON. Richard Small is our new Judging Chairman, rtsdev@bellsouth.net or 321-2887440 12n to 7pm. Do not cantact Paul Schwack for reservations. Also there are no vendor spaces available. All vendor spaces are filled and the waiting list has more than we can accommodate. Contrary to the rumors the Florida Chapter has survived and doing well. All questions about the Regional should be directed to Judging Chairman Richard Small or Chapter President, Coach John Buchheister.

What's it take to get a responce from Richard Small the Judging Chair to get a car count by year ? I know a number of members have sent emails over the last 2-3 weeks for that information with no responce from Richard. Can you help us out ? Hope to see you there if we have cars to judge.

We will announce the car count Feb. 5. when registration for cars closes. As of today Jan 1, 2023 we have 38 cars registered and 177 people registered.
Richard does not have time to answer the 15 calls a day he receives. Check with your team leader as he has access to the running totals. On average, 1/2 all the calls are for help registering as they cannot figure it out. You must save each page and attach proof of ownership and current insurance that expires after March 1, 2023.

If you know that there are 38 cars signed up why not tell everyone how many are Flight Judged cars by year ? Yes I know it will change as time passes but it sure would help members make a decision on going to the event and which Team Leaders to ask to get an assignment. I'm sure the Team Leads would appreciate it so there phones aren't ringing off the hook.

Ken, We are hosting a Regional in Hamilton in 2023 September at the Canadian Warplane Museum in Hamilton, Ontario. A great time will be have by all.

The Feb. 5 was published with the first publication. Obviously you have never put on a regional. You sign up for whatever you want to. 400 level judges should be able to judge in any class as long as the can read.

The problem with Feb 5th that's 18 days before the event and Team Leads will have there teams already picked.

NCRS members,

If anyone needs a room for the Florida Regional Meet, at this time I know of one King Bed room available for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. The room is at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Lakeside village Blvd. The room rate is $ 199.00 plus tax per night.

The room is already reserved by a member unable to attend. If you want this room, reach out to me and I can arrange to have your name added to the room so you can check into it. You will obviously be liable for all expenses incurred as the other guest will not be attending.

If anyone else would like to have a room there if one comes available, feel free to reach out (EMail or Text) and I will put your name on a waiting list in case one becomes available.

There are currently over 40 cars registered for the meet and we have 30 days to go, so it will be another "Great Time in Florida" in February.

KUDOS go to the entire Florida Chapter for staying the course and putting on yet another Great Florida Regional Meet. We have enjoyed your hospitality for over 45 Years and still going strong!
