Florida Regional Car Registration Ends on Sunday February 5

The 2023 SnF Regional will be held as scheduled. Richard Small (rtsdev@ bellsouth.com) is the Judging Chairman and any registration Questions should be directed to him. Coach John Buchheister is the event delegate any questions not related to registration should be directed to him. The room blocks in the 5 hotels are mostly filled. You may contact Harry Ledgerwood who may still have rooms available in his Block at the Hampton Inn Lakeside. Other hotels with NCRS blocks are: Fairfield Inn 813-757-6202, Hilton Garden Inn 863-647-006, Court Yard by Marriott 863-802-9000, Residence Inn 863-680-2323. Rooms are limited do to the Detroit Tigers renting Complete hotels in the area for the first time. They used to be in downtown Lakeland but this year decided to move out to the suburbs!

The last I heard, there is a swap meet. I also was told that it will be about the same size it was for the 2022 meet.

You heard right. Those vendors from last year will be contacted after Dec 1, 2022 about renewing their space. There is a waiting list with 3 names on it so far.

VENDOR space at Florida SnF 2023 Regional

A reminder to the vendors who want to renew for the 2023 Sun n Fun Regional in Lakeland. You must register for the event first and then you will be contacted by Coach as to space availability. We have very limited space and give first option to previous vendors. Some vendors have already been contacted. The present wait list has 4 names on it today. If you have not been contacted, stand by as I am just starting to contact the vendors on the list.

There have been many questions and misconceptions about our event. The Regional will be held, with many registrations already received and cars registered. Please remember to include proof of registration and insurance with your car registration. There are still rooms available at the Hilton Garden Inn and other hotels. All have special rates for NCRS or National Corvette Restorers Registration. Don't say for the Corvette show or Sun n' Fun car show. We have found you will have best results calling the hotel directly for room reservations. We have contracted special room rates. Remember this is Florida in HIGH SEASON. Richard Small is our new Judging Chairman, rtsdev@bellsouth.net or 321-2887440 12n to 7pm. Do not cantact Paul Schwack for reservations. Also there are no vendor spaces available. All vendor spaces are filled and the waiting list has more than we can accommodate. Contrary to the rumors the Florida Chapter has survived and doing well. All questions about the Regional should be directed to Judging Chairman Richard Small or Chapter President, Coach John Buchheister.

Car registration ends Feb 5, 2023. The Judging Chairman is in charge of the cars registered.

Scott, all the vendor spaces that we have been allotted have been assigned. I will put you on the wait list and let you know if something becomes available. Vendors who have not registered for the event by Feb 1st will be refunded the space fee and the next vendor in line will get it.
