Ug, this is tough. I met Loren years ago and learned to appreciate his dedication to the hobby, his unique humor and his drive to keep us knowledgeable about these cars we love. I will miss his intense conversations. Condolences to the Lundberg family, he will be missed.

Mr. Lundberg was iconic in the hobby and this club. We can have two threads going, then merge them later.
          RIP Mr. Lundberg.

Don: Please merge the two threads. My first post ever. Loren was more than just a friend. Glad I last talked to him in mid-June by phone during an NCRS regional in Cedar Rapids.

With out a doubt , the most important person in my corvette life !

He is the one who got me hooked on C2s ,and the reason I joined NCRS.

On My 66 frame off restoration, he was there and assisted with my body lift , and he was there and assisted in my body drop . I took his word on who were the best vendors and who were the best mechanics , for the various needs of a restoration , and that means I bugged him a lot !
He happily , and patiently replied to every question I asked and always proved to be right.

He will be missed ! I will toast to his memory with a glass of bourbon ! If you knew him personally , you know he would appreciate that !

Rest in Peace my friend !

                    Jim

So sorry to hear about Loren. He was such a joy to be around. He researched to the core of this hobby and left no stone unturned. Reflecting on the history of NCRS, Loren was always there.
