I really could use some of those shims, if anyone has them. Got some from Mike M. a while back, but searched high and low and found no trace of them in my vast collection of 63 parts...got any more Mikey?

Well, I double checked all the fuel and brake connections and took a test ride. I need to:

      1. Adjust the choke at cold start
      2. Adjust the carb.
      3. Adjust the brakes as it pulls to the left when stopping
      4. Adjust clutch
      5. Adjust Booster/MC pin (it's a 63 with the one year only adjustment)

Suppose to snow tomorrow, so I'll do some of it.

      Great hobby, isn't it.

OK Harry, once again I have a question - please explain item #5. Is this referring to the threaded pushrod between the M/C and booster ??

Yes, I need to recess the pin. Everything expands when it get hot and the pedal comes up.

            Harry,
You need to hope the lock down lasts for a while longer. Seems your list is growing and you still have another car to get to.

Yep, one item I forgot to mention. I had the driveshaft balanced over the winter with a new 16 spline slip yoke and that seems to have fixed my ongoing vibration problem. I'll re-balance the wheels and tires next week.

I have been driving mine lately more than usual, and found the left front upper A arm bolt and washers laying in my driveway as I returned from a trip driving my '66. I checked all my C2s and 1/2 of them had very loose upper A arm bolts, so always a good idea for check them, they seem to come loose often and it is almost impossible to get a torque wrench on them. The lower ones, it seems, never get loose as you can torque them down easy.
