I for one! Clearly this will be a missed opportunity for those whose interest has been revived due to the 3rd edition of the 1973-74 TIMJG, accompanied by viewing this most unusual build at a national convention and, in the wake of the TIMJG publication. Its presence could spur interest in this division as well promote 3rd edition sales.

I cannot imagine some accommodation cannot be made...have our special events become that rigid? Terry...this would be a great vehicle for the advance seminar...but I suspect the qualification for those is registration.

Well said. I agree wholeheartedly. I wasn't sure if I would attend the convention, but if this car is available for inspection I will definitely want to have the opportunity to look at it..

Check to see if the Convention is using the whole building, or just half of it.

Drive by the center and take a look - the parking lot is large, and there is no reason to be afraid that you will be stuck between two minivans.

If we have it to ourselves you can probably use 4 parking spots. But generally the "Corvette only" parking is the Sportsman parking.
I've driven my C6 to many events and not used Sportsman, and never had an issue.

Patrick, I plan on bringing it at least one day to the show. James said he thought there was corvette only parking. I should have it fairly clean by then. I will have some time 75 era aluminum wheels on it with new driver tires. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and excited to see a bunch of really nice cars..

Patrick, I have been to this facility so many times. I am for sure bringing my car at least one day. Also we can meet up after the show to view the car or go out to dinner etc.. I am excited to meet everyone and put faces with names. James lives 3 miles from the facility. I will have some different rims with driver tires.

If you are going to start that, Mr Bus Driver, I'll bring one of my Crapices with over 300K miles. They will feel right at home as we cross into North Carolina. I can put the lights back on them and pull you over. You better stick to your flying machines.

it has undercoating on it. Has been that way for a long time. I have already mentioned this. That will be my last post on this car..... the negative feed back is ridiculous.
