Best tool is a flat aluminum file , check for warped main meter body and metering plates and base plate, the Holley kit 37-396 are the perfect base gasket passes NCRS judging at Nationals, don,t know what the big fuss is about on the base Gasket it in the Holley kit , if your looking for the very thin Black paper Base Gasket good luck finding those, try a swap meet you may get lucky , Tri-Power setup are very simple Carbs to work on been doing them for over 30 years

The 1967 part number for the gaskets was GM #3902372. For 1968-69 and 1967 SERVICE after 1967 the part number was GM #3921932. The latter was discontinued more than 35 years ago so NOS might be hard-to-find.

Do I have any of these for reference purposes? Nope, I do not. I don't have ANY parts which were part of 3X2 systems, N-14 side exhaust systems, or TJ-2 louver trim. Never had any and never going to have any.
