68 L71 Center Carb Base Gasket

I need this and one for the rear carb. The shop where my car is says they are having trouble finding these gaskets.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Rich, the base gaskets come as part of the Holley 2300 rebuild kit.

I believe all 3 gaskets are the same and the center carb gasket gets turned top for bottom.

Rich, just curious, what makes you think you have a vacuum leak?

Also, with all the flare fittings on a tri-power, if you're not already using them, I highly recommend flare gaskets:

The vacuum leak presents itself as a high pitch whistle at idle. Also a smoke test showed it and spraying carb cleaner at the base of that carb caused an RPM increase.

Good luck finding those paper Thin Black base gasket, those were the factory gaskets closest very thin one to factory are in Holley kit 37-396 very dark gray or find the black gasket paper your looking for and make your own,

These are the 2 base gaskets that come in 37-396 Holley kit. The smaller gasket, which I believe is correct for L71 application, is thinner than the bigger gasket. Both are paper though.
