Mike, they are easier, not a lot to them. Easy to Ops, P.V. and in general they look good.

I agree, I love my '81, and at the Lone Star Regional recently, I don't think there has been one in for judging in many years.

I found a block casting number from a 327 truck, and a casting date in Feb 64.

What 327 block casting number existed in this time frame that denoted the cars block as being a truck block?

The one thing that is easy to see is the 870 Flint blocks had the larger casting number digits than Tonawanda. But I assume Flint supplied truck blocks too. So if a small digit casting number was sighted game over.
