You will have to purchase and replace the entire switch for the 67. It's not much of a problem and should not take more than an hour or two.

Thanks, Joe, but that was what I was afraid of. 2 hours, huh? Looks like a PITA unless you can give some tips. I may just keep holding lever down. lol.

You can also hang your arm out the window to indicate your intention to turn or some other intention.

IMHO there are three options on the 1967 TS replacment

Option 1
After disconnecting the arced connector and removing the steering wheel, plastic column cover, horn contact, steering hub (you'll need a puller), unscrew the three attaching switch screws and pull the switch part way away from the column.
Cut the old switch off leaving a couple/three inches of wire still attached.
Make the same cut of the wires on the new switch
Use solder and heat shrink tubing when splicing back together going color for color.
GENTLY pull the old harness back down through the small column raceway cover and re-attach the new TS switch.
Reassemble the steering wheel to column.
About 2 hours time.

Option 2
After disconnecting the arced connector and removing the steering wheel, plastic column cover, horn contact, steering hub (you'll need a puller), unscrew the three attaching switch screws and pull the switch part way away from the column.
Cut the wires to the switch off
Pull the switch and harness up and away from column
On the new switch, remove each wire with its terminal from the new arced connector.
Slide the wire harness down through the small column raceway cover and re-attach the new TS switch to the hub and the arced connector.
Reassemble the steering wheel to column.
About three hours time

Option 3
After disconnecting the arced connector and removing the steering wheel, plastic column cover, horn contact, steering hub (you'll need a puller), remove the steering column from the car.
Remove the upper bearing housing from the column.
Remove the escutcheon from the column
Remove the small column raceway cover, it snaps onto the column.
Remove the switch connector from the escutcheon and upper bearing housing.
Remove the switch.
Installation is the reverse of the removal.

On all three options:
you will have to also remove the turn signal lever and hazard warning button for reuse. A good time to polish the chrome on both before reassembly.
I recommend re-using the original arced connector as it is black and all the new switches have a brown connector.
Also, while the colors codes are correct on the new switches they do not match the originals in hues.
Plus, while you have the column out, you can clean, inspect, and rebuild and recolor the column and hubs as needed.

I just did option 3 a few weeks ago on my 67 with standard column.

Option 4. The hell with it. Hold lever down and also give hand signal. Have adult beverages (but not while driving) in the 2 or 3 hrs it would have taken to replace switch.

It just occurred to me to wonder how many drivers today would know what the hand signals for turning are. Those of us of a certain age know, but I doubt millennials are aware of this archaic practice. Be sure to signal with the whole empty hand.
When I get home this evening I will ask the resident millennial if she knows how to hand signal a turn. I anticipate an interesting conversation.
