As usual, it went really slick and easy. My thanks to the IT guys who have this all set up. I am really looking forward to the judging schools on Monday, some unique and interesting opportunities to learn.

It's hell on us that follow the rules. I guess it's true, "if you snooze, you lose". Cannot stay at the HOST hotel again this year.

Jerry, unfortunately host hotel has been sold out for months! Even most of the "secondary hotels" are sold out. FRUSTRATING does NOT come close to how I feel about hotel accomodations.

Registration for the 2016 National is progressing nicely since opening February 1st. We have 143 members registered, 86 cars, 124 for the reception and 127 for the Banquet.

          See you in July.

How does one know that their registration application was received and if their car was accepted for judging.? Who and how long does it take.?
            Any help is appreciated.

Dave, go to the events link where you registered for the National. Locate the your line item for the National. If it says PAID, your registration has entered the system.

I can't comment on your other two questions as I don't know. That is controlled at the NCRS National level. I am also waiting.

I do not think there is a maximum number. All we can see is the car count, I'm sure Dave Brigham can see if they are flight cars, display cars, year of 66 cars, etc. As BAU if a Team Leader has many more than normal he can build a second judging team. I would suspect that since this is the year of the 66 that many many 66's will register for flight judging.

I do wonder how many '66s will be accepted for flight judging, maybe Dave can tell us.

                      Harry,
My question was in reference to a mailed in application. I sent it in Feb 1. As of today no charge has been made on my credit card. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering about this. Seems like 10 days is a long time to process an application.
Can the event registrar in Cincinnati provide some feedback.?
Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dave, I'm not answering for Cincy, but from past experience/practice Eric processes applications in batches, usually every 2 or 3 weeks...be patient, I'm sure your car will be accepted.

                          Thanks Vinnie,
                          i appreciate the follow up.
So if you do it online it is accepted immediately but if you mail it in it gets processed when Cincy gets to it. Not sure what sense that makes but I guess that is the way it works.

Dave, I can't answer that question, but you still need to get the acceptance letter from Cincy and like I said earlier, Eric processes all applications/letters in batches. So I wouldn't say that it's accepted immediately, it's just in the system quicker.
