      We may want to change info on the early years with you.
      Also don't say to many bad things about C3

        I like the cars, just not working on them. Not enough experience. I have the cam pulled out and I can see where the cylinder goes into the column, at least the outline in potmetal. The only thing I see that I have depressed is the rod that goes down to the electrial switch halfway down the column. Am I missing somethin else to release the lock cylinder, Do I have to have the key in it to work?

            put the key in turn the cylinder counter clockwise
            Battery is disconnected.

              I must have missed that post to the link earlier, now I have that link and printed it out and I am going to the shop. I do not have the key. Thanks again everyone. I will inform you of how it goes.

                The key must be in the run position to remove the lock. If you have no key that is not covered in my manual.
