      Re: Pic of the Screen

Ok, great. I see your post went exactly where it was supposed to go so I guess it's working properly now?

Wow, are we going to be in trouble when all the important NCRS guys get back from Park City and find out we've been fooling around on the discussion board instead of talking about bolt heads and overspray. I'll probably be one of the first to be banned for 30 days because I post so much but that Cobine character will be right behind me.

        Re: web site question

        Kevin,

With the variety of browsers, and cookie killers, and internet security software that is in use it is hard to tell you exactly why you do not get an email response when someone answers your posted questions. There is a box at the bottom of the Post Message form below your password. "If you'd like e-mail notification of responses, please check this box:" Be sure that it is checked, and that you have a current email address.

I think you're right Steve. I better behave for at least a couple of days. Maybe I should delete my first response to Clems question? Nah!

                It's just like carburetors, Clem

Pretty complicated. But I look for your posts and responses, no matter what the the position. You have helped me greatly.

Thanks and keep it up, no matter what the computer setting.

                  Clem,
I lost my nerve to ask about the need several years ago,
but I have only been married for 39 years.

                    Michael,

If you press (both at the same time) you can copy the contents of the active window to your clipboard. Then open Paint and Paste it into it. You can cut the relevant section when needed. Save the picture as file and post it on this forum.

                    Piece of cake.

                    greetings,
                    Rob.
                    Rob.

Thanks Rob. That sounds easy but I'm not sure what to press. I learned how to do that about eight years ago but never thought I'd need it so I didn't remember it.

Could you tell me one more time how to do that Rob. Your previous post mentioned pressing keys but doesn't specify which ones. Thanks again,

                            John:

Is that a preference type setting for any and all messages I post on this board, or something I need to check each time I post a message? If it is a preference setting, it turns out the box was not checked. I am not sure how it got unchecked, since I was receiving those e-mail notifications before. Either way, thanks for your help. - Kevin

Ctrl - Print Scrn will get you the entire screen.

Alt-Print Scrn will get you only the active window.
