Re: where to now??
Hi Joe, I never knew you were from the North Shore. I grew up in East Boston. Spent a lot of time in the Summer at Lynn Beach. You must remember Beacon Chevrolet. When did you leave the area?- Top

That's the problem with this program. Once you have the original dealer, about all you've got is a starting point for hiring a private detective.
The odds that even if the dealership is still in business they'll remember/have records of your car's original owner are virtually nil!!!!
So, the question is what were you planning on doing with the original dealer information?- Top

Re: where to now??
Yes, I was born in Lynn and lived there until I was about 6 years old. Then, we moved to Rockland in the southshore when my father was transferred to NAS South Weymouth. In 1957 when I was about 10 years old we moved to California and I've been here ever since. Of course, I return to the Boston area usually about once or twice a year.
I do remember Beacon Chevrolet. Of course, I know Lynn Beach which is still a really beautiful beach (in the summer). Most of Lynn has gone down-hill, but Lynn Beach and the beach area are still pretty nice. And, Christy's is still there and still operated by the same family that was there when I was just a toddler. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

There is a local Corvette Club in that area called North Shore Corvettes of Massachusetts. It is still active. I was a member of that club in the late 60's and it has been in existence since the early 60's. I have no contact info but you should be able to find it via the internet. They most likely have some old time members that may remember your car.- Top
