Hi Joe, I never knew you were from the North Shore. I grew up in East Boston. Spent a lot of time in the Summer at Lynn Beach. You must remember Beacon Chevrolet. When did you leave the area?

That's the problem with this program. Once you have the original dealer, about all you've got is a starting point for hiring a private detective.

The odds that even if the dealership is still in business they'll remember/have records of your car's original owner are virtually nil!!!!

So, the question is what were you planning on doing with the original dealer information?

          Nicholas-----

Yes, I was born in Lynn and lived there until I was about 6 years old. Then, we moved to Rockland in the southshore when my father was transferred to NAS South Weymouth. In 1957 when I was about 10 years old we moved to California and I've been here ever since. Of course, I return to the Boston area usually about once or twice a year.

I do remember Beacon Chevrolet. Of course, I know Lynn Beach which is still a really beautiful beach (in the summer). Most of Lynn has gone down-hill, but Lynn Beach and the beach area are still pretty nice. And, Christy's is still there and still operated by the same family that was there when I was just a toddler.

                    Richard,
There is a local Corvette Club in that area called North Shore Corvettes of Massachusetts. It is still active. I was a member of that club in the late 60's and it has been in existence since the early 60's. I have no contact info but you should be able to find it via the internet. They most likely have some old time members that may remember your car.

Try getting a current CarFax report on the car and see where that leads you.
