Name brand oil filters are going to be the same whether they're purchased from Rock Auto or elsewhere. I use AC Delco filters but they're not really what they used to be. However, they are completely adequate and meet new vehicle warranty requirements.

While I currently prefer AC-Delco, if I were going to use another brand, I'd go with WIX.

If you are talking about the AC Delco "Classic" PF-25, that's the only way you'll get a PF-25 from AC-Delco. The PF-25 was otherwise long ago discontinued by AC Delco and replaced by the PF-454, a significantly shorter filter. Many other filter manufacturers also discontinued their PF-25 equivalents in favor of a PF-454 equivalent. However, I think a few still offer a PF-25 equivalent.

        Re: PF25 Oil Filter

I gave my son all my old car parts to sale at the fleas. He had a few NOS AC 25's for sale. Not 100% for judging as they only have the small circle on the bottom about the size of a quarter. The C4 filters for the '83 to 91 years should have a larger circle (flat area) about the size of a half dollar or larger.
Anyhow I was amazed at how many people walking buy thought the AC PF 25 is still available at the local auto store.

The white ones in the pic don't appear to be the correct as the bottom of them is dome shaped with no round flat area. I may be wrong as the picture is a tad blurry. Could be my eye balls too as all worn out from Spring Carlisle. JD
