Yes, it does; and it also has the AIR system check valve as shown in Keith's original photo. No 1970 LS5 that I know of was originally equipped with an AIR system, which is why I posted yhe comment that picture is not from a 1970 LS5.
I have seen these brackets clocked differently for BB & SB and especially BB with PS. I suspect these differences are due to the orientation of the alternator and consequently of the connector for the alternator field windings. These different clockings will result in different configuration of the two tabs on the tail end of the bracket. Those tabs are to stop the bracket from rotating in service since there is only one bolt holding it to the alternator rear case half. The tabs rest against the alternator case to provide a second point of contact.
Once the bracket is removed one has to be very careful to reinstall it with those tabs located as original. I believe the many different configurations one sees are from careless re-installation by people who do not understand their function.
