Rolling chassis looks great Jill. One question on the gold exhaust manifolds. Is this a covering that once heated up will turn to a close correct texture or color. Thanks, Jeff

Yes, that's correct Jeff. Once heated, the exhaust manifolds will turn a dull grayish color. They're still gold because I haven't started the engine to break it in. In an earlier reply, I mentioned that I bought a correct date coded 519 (283 hp) block which is due to arrive Monday. I'll still need to get it machined before taking all of the current parts off and reinstall them on the new block one I get it back from the machine shop. Jill

Thanks Roger. It has definitely been a dream come true. I've always loved the C1 body style and couldn't believe it when I actually had the chance to acquire this one. Also mine came with a power top option that I'll be installing as well so it'll be factory correct. I am definitely having a lot of fun with this project and have met some really GREAT people along the way...
