Hi all,
Back at the regional at Seven Springs, there was a '57 Bowtie car there that we all looked at. We even looked at the bottom of the seat cushions and I thought the neatest thing was that the woman who did the upholstering signed it. I'm attaching a pic.
So, I'm taking all the seat covers and everything off of the seat cushions of my '57 race car and what do I find but Edna's signature! The other one was also signed, but just with the initials, JW.
Makes me wonder if Edna is still around. If she was 60, then she'd be 117, but if she was 20, then she'd be 77 and could easily still be around. Anyone know of any way to find out? I'd bet she'd be excited that some examples of her craftsmanship were still being celebrated!
The US Rubber and US Naugahyde stamps are pretty neat, too!
Thanks,
Bob
