    I'm with Mr Whittington on this one...RUN, Don't walk...there is NO factory explanation for the engine pad, and what documentation exists for the "Factory" A/C and other options???

        To me, these lines do not look like a typical factory broached surface. While they do look like the typical circular lines found on a decked block. Click on the attached picture, then once it opens click on it again and enlarge the picture . Note the very gradual curved lines inside the red outlined area.

            Have you ever seen actual factory grind outs from late 1965 on L36 blocks that were originally assembled for full size Chevrolets and then torn down and re configured for Corvette production ?

              Never seen a reconfigured engine, but have seen quite a few ground outs The presence of the diagonal or curved lines tell me it never left St Louis configured that way
