I have a 1956 Vette, and I recently requested an online quote from Hagerty simply to compare it to the NCM Agency quote. Hagerty's quote is almost twice a much for the same coverage.

I live in VT and am unable to go through the Museum, so I went directly to the company, American Modern, on the advice of Museum people. Got the insurance no problem but the company is impossible to correspond with. All I wanted was id cards but got so frustrated that I gave up. Back to Grundy when this policy expires. You guys are lucky to have the Museum choice and Adam.

I received my NCM bill last month and there was no change to the premium from last year.

I have 9 cars with Chubb. They are excellent in coverage and rates are very competitive.I strongly recommend them.

I wanted to update the thread a bit since I had several member ask about this thread.


There was no increase at all on this policy. All is good, Harry is happy, and because of that we are too!

Just insured with NCM. Changed from Hagerty after they told be on a Sat that they would insure my new to me 2011 Corvette and on Monday when I went to pick up the car they told me that they would not insure the 2011. Long Story. Called NCM and they were $400 cheaper with more coverage.
