Ed, I don't know where in FL you are coming from but I-20 to Dallas-Fort Worth then I-35 East in Dallas (or West in Fort Worth) north to KC. Probably not the shortest drive but a simple drive. I have driven from DFW to KC that way and from DFW to FL and Atlanta. Steve

Going through Dallas adds about five hours if you start in JAX. Mt Eagle and Jellico are not that bad, just drop a gear, back off the throttle a little and move right along.

Dick, question about the sway bars. Do I need to place a sway bar on both sides of the A-frame, or just one side?

                    Thanks.
I use a sway bar system with my large pop-up camper, but I've never done it pulling a trailer similar size to yours with the weight distribution bars. As you noted I've not had a problem with swaying at all, as the weight distribution bars keep it nice and steady.

After Googling a lot of photos of various sway + weight distribution systems I'd probably suggest visiting the nearest camper/trailer/hitch place near you to see what will work with what you have now should you wish to go this route.

This style will work with any equalizing hitch http://bit.ly/QhIZkD Very similar to what I have. They are made for either side. You may have to weld a bracket on your receiver hitch to mount the attaching ball, no biggie.

That' perfect Dick, and my Curt receiver already comes with holes on each side for the ball. Well, that's the move. It can't hurt that's for sure.

                        Thanks again everyone!

Thanks for the feedback Pat. Yea, I really don't get swaying even when the big rigs come by. I've also learned that it helps the dynamics if I just slightly reduce my acceleration when they are passing me. But overall, I don't find myself being sucked-in since I started using the Wht. Dist. system. But, like everyone is saying, it's better to over prepare than to under prepare.
