    63 master cylinder assembly

Today I investigated my master cylinder parts to figure out how to assemble it all

I had to figure out what the order of assembly would be and after studying the old parts bag I think it needs to be like this:

Could someone check this out and let me know if this is indeed the right order (or otherwise what needs to be swapped)???

Wrong order, the rubber washer goes in first, then the spring, cup, piston and clip.

      Thanks Harry for your feedback.

So If I understand correctly I need to move the round rubber washer (item # 4, reading L to R) to the for right (so after the complete spring assembly) and then all is fine???

        Yes.

And make sure there is no old one in there. The last MC I rebuild there were 3 at the bottom that I had to remove.
