Deju vu. Headed back to Kissimmee area. Weather is beyond nasty. Good thing thing this stuff wasn't here last weekend. I hope it clears up later.

Car is operational and I will be making the trip home shortly. Bad weather here still but taking a different route home with not fast speeds. I will go more in detail about repair and will have questions but car is safe. Home swee home here we come!

The car is home and I have to arrange for final repairs.

Both door locks need to be repaired and although the car starts with no issues the reverse lock out theft system is not operational.

Although it appears the lockout is working (when you shift in reverse the reverse lock out moves in the up position under the hood). However, the key can now be removed while the car is any gear. I need to get this fixed. There was a slight modification the locksmith had to do when he replaced the broken rack. That plastic housing had to be removed in order to get the replacement part in. I didn't mind. I just wanted to get the car home and then deal with it later. I am just glad car is home. Thanks again for all your help with what happened.

Ed the article and associated pictures are ready and sent to you. The hardest part was thinning the article. It began as a novel but shortened it to highlight the big items of my experience. I enjoyed writing it and hope others will to. Thank you for asking me to do this. If you need anything else let me know.

Looks like we're in for a Dale Pearman (RIP) story of sorts!!! Looking forward to hearing another rip roaring tale of a trip to the Florida Regional!!!! This reminds me of the story of the red truck (with no floorboard), a missing spark plug and an Alabama Cop!!!!

Joe....oh my original draft of my article included way too many specifc details. It was a novel and if I sent that in I think Ed Nieves would have gone nuts. I originally had a day by day account and even discussed what happened after the event was over. It was WAY to much and decided to focus with some brief details and summarize the basic points of my experience and stick exclusively to the actual meet. I sent the draft to Ed and if he likes me to add to it I will. I got plenty of unused footage. But who wants to read a 10 page article? LOL! I condensed it to one page with a bunch of photos. I want the reader of the article to stay interested the entire time and not get bored over unrelated NCRS stuff.

Marc, it will be a great article. You can always send me more and I can fit it in as the article develops. It is always better to have more and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Ed okay. I will send you some additional footage when I get back from my trip this week. I just didn't want to go nuts with it. But you can use what you think it's best. Thanks.
