    1963 p/b booster to pedal adjustment

    can anyone tell me what is the right adjustment from the rod at the back of the booster to the brake pedal

    Bob,

    I think it's adjusted so the brake pedal stands 5" from the floor and when compressed 2 1/4" the pedal should be hard.

      Also remember the 63 booster is unique. The section that inserts into the back of the master cylinder is also adjustable. Each 1/4 turn of the adjuster is about 1 inch of pedal movement. Don't have it adjusted too far into the MC as it will already start to apply the brakes.

      I think this is why this adjustment screw was removed, if you didn't get it right just touching the pedal would lock the wheels.
