By the model years end, there will plenty unsold units sitting on the lots. There's always a bunch of the "Gotta have the first one of everything" group that will pay over MSRP just for bragging rights creating an artificial demand.

We received 16 of them so far. All sold of course. The car is fantastic. Here's a few shots of a delivery if anyone hasn't seen how they arrive. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5684255&type=1

It's going to be interesting judging them at Bloomington if they decide to be strict about the "as they left the factory" point in time. Just imagine a lineup of C7's covered with transit covers....

Tom, do the buyers get the shipping cover or are they sent back to Bowling Green for reuse?

I can see the ad on Craig's List in 30 years: "Pristine 2014 Corvette shipping cover. $1,000,

              Duke

I believe you get to keep the cover. I saw 2 truck loads heading west awhile back on my way to Vegas.

                    Roy,

Michael Garver has one that he picked up at the museum a week or two ago there is a shot of it in this post. Looks pretty sweet.

That's a nice color combo, but my favorite is still the '96 GS Admiral Blue with red interior 'vert.

I met a load going north on I-69 when I was headed south today (Indiana). Kind of miss seeing the various colors when they're all shrouded like nowadays.

Last I heard (on Labor Day weekend) no convertibles until December. They are doing baby steps in the production changes.

Yes guys. You can keep the cover. They claim it is reusable. Not really. Once it comes off, I can't see it ever going back on. I do save them for everyone. So far. Nobody has wanted it. I proudly showed the cover to a customer yesterday at delivery and he said "I don't want that thing." I may just insulate my attic with all of the ones I collect !! LOL As you guys know. I don't throw anything away.
