Smog pump and bracket. What does it belong to

    Smog pump and bracket. What does it belong to

    Front of pump pulley side reads Do not clamp in vise. Metric. On the valve LJ 17063052. 17201. On back side 7834922. Kipp2. Metric. julian date 6160GM/ 2. On the bracket casting number 14018783. At the end of the casting number is a triangle with the letters ADC. In it. What do these parts belong to? They were taken of a 1980 l48 corvette. I don't think they are correct for this car!

      The part number for the bracket appears to be correct for 80 and 81 cars based on a Google search. Have you Googled the part number for the pump?

          I'm out-of-town and away from my references so I can't check the numbers. However, in general the parts and the part numbers look to me like 80-81 Corvette. Could also possibly be from a 1979 but I think 80-81 is more likely.

              I did do a google search and it says they are used on 1980. But the NCRS judging guide listed a different number. I had deductions at a chapter meet for not having the emissions on. So before I put the emissions back on wanted to make sure I have the correc part numbers. Thanks

                  The GM #17063052 valve is uniquely applicable to 1980 with auto transmission.

                  GM #14018783 is the correct pump bracket for a 1980 Corvette.
